It's Pinterest Day! Haha. I have been slacking on the posts lately.. Sorry about that. I got so sucked up in my new blog design, and my Etsy shop, I've been neglecting my most important job! I've still got a ways to go with the blog design, but I'm taking a break right now to share my latest Pinterest finds with ya. Brace yourself, it's a long one with a whole lot of rambling from me.
I love this entry way in the first pic. It feels so warm and homey. Very inviting, you know? I wish I had two windows. Our front door is right against a wall on the left, so I can't really hang a curtain there. Phooey.
Love this Father-Son combo! I don't know the story behind it, but I'm guessing the little boy wanted to wear his cape to the store, and asked Daddy to join. Just the fact that the Dad had a super hero cape was awesome enough! Let alone, wearing it in public to make his boy smile. Just warms my heart.
This winter has been brutal in terms of dryness. Hubby and I are both suffering from tight itchy skin. We can slather lotion everywhere, but what about our scalps? I can't wait to try this scalp rinse for some relief.
Have you seen Les Miserables? I never read the book, or saw the original movie. But I did see the newest one, and I fell in love. It's such a beautiful movie. I bawled for almost half of it.
I've been feeling a little cramped in our house lately. Don't get me wrong, it's a big house, but I have too much crap! Time to purge and get organized. I found this fantastic website with a TON of organizing tips.
This sweatshirt! How cute is this!? I'm absolutely in love with it. I have to make one. Very soon. I'm thinking of hitting up Goodwill for some large mens hoodies to experiment with.
I'm really trying to lose some weight before swim suit season. It's sneaking up on me, but I don't want it to be like the last few years. I want to go out on the boat with my family, and not be covered up the entire time. I want to soak up some sunshine, take my daughter to the pool, and have fun for goodness sake! This swimsuit is just to-die-for. So freaking cute.
I've seen these custom-built storage units for under the sink before, but they always seemed so difficult to make. But I found this pin, and now there is hope! I love the idea of storing sponges and stuff right here. It's wasted space right now! I just need to find those hinges, and those plastic tubs.
I want this pillow for our master bedroom. How fun would that be? Add a little romance to the bedroom. I'm thinking I could make it though with some acrylic paint, yeah?
I can't wait for spring. I have so many things I want to do with our backyard. I need to get some plants out there, and I love this tiered herb garden! Saves space, looks cute, and keeps the herbs safe from being trampled by the dog.
